We are excited to announce that our Tasting Room will re-open on Saturday, March 10, 2012!!! Our new hours are Wednesday – Sunday from 12:00 pm - 6:00 pm. Bring some friends and spend a relaxing afternoon tasting our delicious wines and enjoying the gorgeous scenery that our vineyard has to offer!

Be sure to follow the Little River Mobile Tasting Room as it tours throughout the east coast. A one of a kind unit that sports some of the nicest amenities including air conditioning, hardwood and tile floors, granite countertops, mahogany wine racks to hold up to 300 bottles of wine, and a big screen television with surround sound.

This mobile tasting room allows us to take our award winning wines to our customers. All types of festivals and fairs are a great place for the mobile unit. An upbeat environment paired with great wines makes this unit a huge crowd draw and an exciting addition to your event.

Little River Wins Awards in State and International Competitions

Little River has won a total of twelve medals in recent wine competitions both within North Carolina and Internationally.

In the 2011 & 2010 Indy International Wine Competition in Indianapolis Indiana, Little River received a Bronze medal for their 2009 Chardonnay and in 2011 Little River received a Silver medal for their Riesling. The Indy International Wine Competition is the largest scientifically organized and independent wine competition in the United States, the world’s largest wine market. More than 3,000 commercial entries from 12 countries and 39 US states are evaluated by our distinguished 80 judges.

Within North Carolina, Little River has gained attention with its eight awards, including Double Gold for its 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon at the North Carolina State Fair. Also, awarded at the State Fair were three silver medals for 2009 Sauvignon Blanc, 2008 Niagara, and Strawberry Wine.

At the Mid-Atlantic Southeastern Wine Competition held at the Dixie Classic Fair in Winston-Salem, Little River won Gold with their 2009 Sauvignon Blanc, Silver with 2009 Chardonnay, 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon, and Bronze with 2008 Niagara.

We will be opening our tasting room here at Little River Vineyards and Winery this Saturday, August 13, 2011.
